Hi I'm Sophia! Inspired by the sites of a few of my friends, (see below) I started working on this in Oct 2025. All of the backgrounds are pixelated scenes from either Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland or Egger's Nosferatu (the recent one).

There is this quote from an Alaskan senator in 2006 calling the internet a "series of tubes" referring to underground fibre optic cables, which I found very humorous and is where the site name comes from.
